While the Status Now Network – SNN recognises that the swinging cuts to local government and health systems over the last decade have had profound impact on cities, SNN does not subscribe to the idea that people seeking asylum are a drain in the public purse. Britain First out of Coventry, Refugees are Welcome here
Event on 5-6pm on Wednesday 2 September 2020: Britain First have targeted two hotels in Coventry that are known to be used by the Home Office to house Asylum Seekers. Britain First are not welcome in Coventry which has a long history of fighting racism and welcoming Refugees.
We call on everyone who supports us to join us on Wednesday in Broadgate at 17:00 to show their support for Asylum Seekers and Migrants in our city.
